Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Fabricator/Mechanical Fitter to join our Australian team in a full-time capacity. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated trade-qualified individual to be a part of our supportive and collaborative team.

As a Fabricator/Mechanical Fitter, your role will involve fabricating, installing, and repairing heavy machinery. Working with precision to meet specific specifications, you will operate tools and machines to grind, mill, and shape raw materials into the desired form, ultimately assembling the final product. Welding experience with aluminum is mandatory, and a willingness to perform mechanical repairs is essential.

In this position, you will utilise your technical skills and trade experience to maintain and repair ground support equipment, aircraft jacks, and other airport-related machinery at various airports across Queensland.

Position Requirements:

  •  

  • Relevant Trade Qualification in Welding/Fabrication/Boiler Maker/Vehicle Builder

  • Previous experience with aluminium welding to AS/NZS 1665

  • Previous experience with basic vehicle maintenance repair work (Re-packing bearings, trailer servicing)

  • Must hold a current Driver's License

  • Willingness to undertake ASIC background checks for security access

  • Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical check
