🏆 The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Support Engineer Level 3 with a specialization in Network & Security to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support to our clients, particularly in the areas of network and security. You will troubleshoot complex issues, implement solutions, and ensure our clients' systems are operating optimally and securely.

🎬 A snapshot of what you will be doing here:

  • Provide expert-level technical support to clients, primarily focusing on network and security issues.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex network and security problems, including but not limited to firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve escalated support issues promptly and effectively.

  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect client networks and systems from cyber threats.

  • Document support activities, including troubleshooting steps, solutions, and recommendations, to assist with knowledge sharing and future reference.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to network and security.

🕵 We are looking for an individual who:

  • has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • has 10+ years of experience in a technical support role, with a focus on network and security.

  • has strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies in a Microsoft environment (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs).

  • has experience with configuring and troubleshooting firewalls, routers, switches, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

  • is familiar with security best practices and common security frameworks (e.g., CISSP, NIST, ISO 27001).

  • has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • has strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • has relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.

  • is willing to relocate to Belgium.
