Job Description:

Exciting opportunity exists for a Trades Assistant working with Aviation Ground Support Equipment based at our Brisbane Airport Workshop.

Working alongside the Service Manager and Workshop Supervisors, the Trade Assistant assists the efficient operations of our workshop to facilitate the delivery of timely service and repairs of GSE to our customers. 

You will be given daily tasks allocated by your manager which will include but not be limited to the following: Picking up and delivery of spare parts, packing and sending freight, receiving and stocking of new parts, pick-up and delivery of equipment, workshops and equipment cleaning and the support of our technicians to complete services of rolling stock, stairs and tasks card servicing on time.

Position Requirements:
• Must hold a current MR license or greater
• Experience in basic fabrication skills 
• Must hold a current forklift license
• Must be keen and enthusiastic
• Self motivated
• Willing to undergo a full medical examination
• Willing to undertake ASIC background checks for security pass
• Mature aged applicants encouraged to apply
